Obituary of Ingrid Schiavone

Ingrid Jyotika Schiavone, also known as Jyotika, passed away on October 5, 2023, in Tucson, AZ at the age of 75. Born on April 4, 1948, in Staten Island, NY, she was a free-spirited individual who saw the good in everyone. Ingrid was an amazing friend, aunt, and sister who brought joy to those around her.

 

Ingrid had a deep connection with nature and found solace in dancing in the rain. Her infectious laughter and warm smile will be dearly missed. She lived life to the fullest and her soul will forever be free.

 

Ingrid is survived by her sister, Roselyn Schiavone Reyes, and her husband, Ercilio. She is also survived by her niece, Joy Bibbins, and great-niece, Sarah. Ingrid was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Betty Schiavone.

 

A friend memorial service will be held on November 5, 2023, to celebrate Ingrid's life. Additionally, a family memorial is being planned to honor her memory.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Humane Society Tucson in honor of Ingrid's love for animals.
