On Monday May 31st 2021 Naomi G Aldrete loving Mother  Grandmother & Friend passed away at the age of 81 .

Naomi was born on July 29 1939 in Globe Az to Lee and Rosie Guzman . She graduated from Superior HS in 1958 . She married and raised her family in Superior until 1977 . She also lived in Alameda Ca

Lubbock Texas and settled in Tucson where she retired as a supervisor of food service Amphi school district.

She was passionate over her football .The  Dallas Cowboys. She was able to see the Cowboys play in the old stadium and in the new stadium. We spent her 80th birthday on a trip to Dallas to see a game .

She loved her church , Sacred heart .

She loved her High school friends and classmates (Lala Peralta and Mellie Bribiescas ) always attending school functions and reunions or creating gatherings in Tucson .

She also had a special group of friends in Tucson.

Her Lunch and casino friends. Rosie , Espy and Lumina . We are thankful to all her friends who shared her life and laughter with her . Jannette and Beverly , you have been amazing friends to my Mom Love and faith  . Her face lit up when she saw you .

My Mother had a cake decorating talent . She made some beautiful birthday and wedding cakes early in her life . She also enjoyed crochet and needlepoint .

Her love for music will always be with us . I am thankful to say I attended a couple of Engelbert Humperdinck concerts with her . She also loved Little Joe y la familia ,  Micheal Salgado, Ritmo 7/ San Fernando and her Oldie but goodies . She loved her western movies . When you came over to visit , that’s what you were going to watch . After all her dad ( my tata) was a real Cowboy. . I loved talking to her about all of her favorite actors and how much older they were now or what they looked like when they got older .

I always told my Mom , you grew up in such a great era . The music , the movies , the cars . Her generation had class , style and grace . A certain wholesomeness you would want to raise your family around . I will always cherish that era knowing my Mother experienced that type of lifestyle.

My Mother was proceeded in death by her Father Lee Guzman Sr and her Mother Rosie T Guzman. Her husband ( My Father ) Thomas R Aldrete. Her daughter Deanna , her brother Lee Guzman Jr. and numerous nephews and nieces she loved so much.

She is survived by her Son Robert A Aldrete ( Michelle) .  4 granddaughters,  Desiree Zimmerman ( Derrick)  Santana Aldrete ,Ciara Aldrete , Analisa Aldrete . 8 great grandchildren .

My Mothers wishes were to have no services.

Her priest from Sacred heart came over and blessed her with her sacraments of penance along with prayer .

Mom , I will love and honor you the rest of my days .

Until we meet again , I thank you for all of your love and your sacrifice you endured to make sure I was taken care of , because that’s what great moms do .
