Obituary of Donald Wayne Vose

Donald Wayne Vose, 70, passed away on August 9, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson AZ. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 13, 1948. 

He was an incredible husband to Susan Vose for 41 years. Don has 3 daughters and 1 step son along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

To show the great man Don was; he took in and raised his step son at only 2 years old with no hesitations, always being supportive, with an amazing father-son bond until he passed. Don loved talking to anyone who would listen about his life as a firefighter, construction worker, and caregiver. He took care of his mother full time for 12 years and took care of his grandchildren as well.

Don was surrounded by his wife Susan, daughter Deseree, son Damian, grandson Justin and granddaughters Kristina, Alexis, and Ashley in his last days to fulfill his wishes. Until his very last moments, he stayed very independent and never complained because he was always worried about everyone around him. He is the most selfless and caring man I’ve ever known. He remained a fighter with a long list of medical issues and always remained happy. Don is incredibly missed and loved. A celebration of life was held on August 11, 2019 as he wished.
