Glerina Navarro Romero

Glerina Navarro Romero, age 73 passed away peacefully on the morning of July 25th, 2019 in Tucson, Az.

Glerina is proceeded in death by her son Oscar Varelas Jr. and is survived by her daughters Catalina (Claude), Barbara (Anna), Yolanda (Ronnie), Estrella and son Abraham, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, her mother Ercilia Canez Valverde, sisters; Carolina, Isabel, Evie, brothers; Roberto, Jesus, Adan.

Glerina’s greatest achievement was receiving her Associates Degree in administration in 1996 from Pima Community College, where she later retired from. Glerina had a passion for travel and gardening and a love for movies and books. She was the life of every gathering and had a smile that could light a room.

A memorial service to celebrate Glerina’s life will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Angel Valley Funeral Home 2545 N Tucson Blvd., Tucson, Arizona. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm at Canez Bar & Grill 6653 S 10th Ave., Tucson Az 85756.
