Obituary of Luis Alvarez

Luis Alvarez was born in Nogales, AZ on August 23, 1947 and was received by the Lord on April 22, 2013. Luis served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1968 at the Herzo base in Germany with the Army Security Agency. He is also a retired business owner. Preceding him in death is his father, Luis Alvarez and his mother, Maria Carmen Felix. Luis was a loving father, faithful teacher, honest friend, wonderful brother and he was loved by all. He will truly be missed by his daughters, Heather (Ben), Stacy (Dean), and Tammy (Joey); 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also surviving him are his sisters, Thelma (Dave), Delia and Patrisha; brothers, Henry (Marlene), Tony, and Mario (Lisa); and numerous nieces and nephews. Heaven must have needed another angel. Always and forever be your mejita. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 4:00 pm at ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd.
