Obituary of John Condon

John Charles Condon passed away on December 19, 2013 at the age of 67 after battling lung cancer. He is survived by his wife, Judi; son, Clay Condon and his wife, Whalin; daughter, Amanda Carey and her husband, Alex; stepsons, Adam and Ryan Farb and grandchildren, Kinsley Elizabeth Carey and John Clayton Condon Jr. John was a Tucson native, born to Walter F. and Mary Ellen Condon and spent many years working in the Southern Arizona road construction industry. He was a pilot and avid outdoorsman; hunting, fishing, camping and horseback riding throughout the southwest. He passed on his love of the outdoors to his children. A larger-than life character, he will be deeply missed by his family and many close friends. Always prepared with a joke and ready to help a friend whenever he could. There will never be another character like him. His family is grateful for his passing to a more peaceful place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
