Lloyd Leeper

Obituary of Lloyd Leeper

Lloyd was born in Austin, Minnesota to Delores and Raymond Leeper.  He lived and worked in Minnesota prior to moving to Tucson.  He met Clare in Tucson and they were friends for many years before marrying in 1998.  He worked in heating and air conditioning and owned his own company for several years.

His love of cars was common knowledge and there were many nights spent in the garage taking them apart and putting them back together.  These nights usually included any number of friends helping, with a good amount of beer involved.

He loved his roses and puttering around the yard.  He spent many hours tinkering with one thing or another.  Lloyd loved talking on the phone with friends and family around the country.  We traveled as much as we could and spent many summers visiting in Minnesota.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother and father, two sisters, Luanne and Linda.  He is survived by his wife Clare, daughters Roberta (Loren) Jensen, Diane Campbell, sons Raymond (Jane) Leeper, Jeff Campbell and Wes Schulz, 4 grandchildren, nephews and nieces and much loved niece, Lisa.

Lloyd passed away at home on September 27th, 2021 after many health challenges.

Mass will be celebrated October 29th, 2021, at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5150 N. Valley View Rd., Tucson, Arizona, 85718, followed by a reception in O’Leary Hall.
